Join ONE Archives and Trans* Lounge to learn more about the courageous individuals and critical events that encompass aspects of transgender history in the United States! Including a fun round of Jeopardy to test your knowledge!
Erik Adamian (he/him) graduated from UCLA with a BA in English and Civic Engagement. Fueled by his passion for vocalizing the issues and concerns of the oppressed, Erik has previously worked as an educator at the Los Angeles LGBT Center (Youth Center on Highland). As a Middle East and North Africa intern at Human Rights Watch in Washington D.C., he conducted research on human rights violations and social injustice against women in Iran. Currently, he serves on the Board of Directors of the Gay and Lesbian Armenian Society, helping with communication efforts.
As the Associate Director of Education at ONE Archives, Erik manages community engagement and education efforts, e-marketing and communications, event planning, and assists in fundraising and outreach. His hobbies include playing the piano, redecorating his house, and binge-watching Shonda Rhimes’ TV shows.
Nick Bihr (he/him) is the Education and Outreach Assistant at the ONE Archives Foundation. Nick assists in the development and implementation of LGBTQ history and culture programs at ONE, such as the History Panels Project, Youth Ambassadors for Queer History program, and various social media campaigns. He has presented at the Creating Change Conference and Models of Pride, among others. He graduated from the University of San Diego with a BA in Ethnic Studies in 2016 and has served as a youth mentor at the LGBTQ Center of Long Beach.
