2-3 p.m. Workshop: For Parents of Trans/Non-Binary Children
presented by members of Center’s youth trans empowerment group
Who better to present a workshop for the parents of Trans/GNC/ENBY children then actual Trans/GNC/ENBY youth? Members of the Center’s youth group, TRANS: A GROUP (TAG), facilitate the return of this exciting workshop.
3:30-5 p.m. Panel: Non-Binary & Genderqueer: An Expanding Awareness of Gender Identities
With the continuing understanding and acceptance of the transgender experience, there is also expansion! Non-Binary (ENBY), Gender Non-Conforming (GNC), Genderfluid, Genderqueer, Bigender, Agender, Gender-Expansive and Two-Spirit, are just some of the identities with increasing visibility in the Trans community. This panel takes the space to hear more from these members of our community, about their experiences, and how they relate to our community at large. Please join us to hear and interact with leaders in our community as they share their truth!
5:30-7 p.m. Panel: Discussion with Latinx Parents of Trans Kids in Spanish/Discusión con Padres Latinx de Hijos/Hijas Trans en Español

This discussion panel will feature a group of parents with transgender children, ranging from pre-teen to young adults. They will share their experiences as parents helping their children navigate their transitions.
